And Now For Something Completely Different

This summer saw the release of our CBD Infused Honey, and judging by the response it was a hit. It isn't sold in any stores as of yet, but you can order it online from our Shop page.

And now I'm happy to report that development has finished on our newest product - Lucille's Ginger Infused Honey. Ginger and Honey are a great combination and a classic flavor profile in all kinds of Asian dishes. Pair it with chicken or shrimp, it gives an extra complexity to your stir fry. Combined with lemon, Ginger Infused Honey goes great in tea. In the dessert department, how about some Gingerbread? I use a little ginger in my Molasses Cookie recipe. Make a refreshing spritzer with Lucille'sGinger Infused Honey and sparkling water. I'll be releasing several recipes that feature Lucille's Ginger Infused Honey so you can try them out for yourself.

According to WebMD, "The old wives’ tale may be true: Ginger helps if you’re trying to ease a queasy stomach, especially during pregnancy. It may work by breaking up and getting rid of built-up gas in your intestines. It might also help settle seasickness or nausea caused by chemotherapy."

WebMD also states: "A daily dose of ginger may help you battle your “bad” or LDL cholesterol levels. In a recent study, taking 5 grams of ginger a day for 3 months lowered people’s LDL cholesterol an average of 30 points."

Healthline.com says "Ginger appears to speed up emptying of the stomach, which can be beneficial for people with indigestion and related stomach discomfort."

Ginger may also help fight respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), a common cause of respiratory infections. Although additional studies need to be done, they have seen ginger being effective against colorectal, pancreatic, liver and breast cancer. Ginger is being used as a natural alternative to drugs in significantly reducing menstrual pain as well as joint pain and stiffness.

With all the potential health benefits, in addition to it's fantastically unique taste, Ginger was a logical choice for our next honey infusion.

I haven't set up a release date yet, so I'm looking for feedback from all our customers. Let me know in the comments if you'd like to see Lucille's Ginger Infused Honey.
